Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

​

By accessing The Aaron Dwyer website (“Site”) or participating in any event (“Event”), you (“Studio Owner,” “Teacher,” or “Participant”) agree to these legally binding Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all events and activities held in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland), Ireland, and any other European country. If you do not agree, you must not use this Site or register for any Event.

2. Studio Owner & Teacher Responsibility

​

  • The studio owner and/or teacher registering participants is solely responsible for:

    • Ensuring all dancers are physically and mentally fit to participate.

    • Obtaining all necessary parental/guardian consents and permissions.

    • Communicating all event rules, schedules, and requirements to their participants and parents.

    • Ensuring participants comply with all event rules, venue rules, and safety instructions.

    • Supervising and safeguarding their dancers at all times during the Event.

  • The Aaron Dwyer, its staff, and affiliates accept NO responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, damage, accident, or incident, whether direct or indirect, arising from participation in any Event or use of this Site, in any country.

3. Admission, Tickets, and Fees

​​

  • No admission to any Event without a valid ticket or pass.

  • Tickets and passes must be checked upon purchase; mistakes cannot always be rectified.

  • All payments (entry fees, tickets, merchandise, etc.) are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to illness, injury, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, or Event changes.

  • Duplicate tickets cannot be issued. Tickets cannot be exchanged or resold for commercial gain; any attempt to do so will invalidate the ticket and result in refused admission.

  • The Aaron Dwyer may restrict the sale of tickets to a maximum number per person and reserves the right to cancel tickets bought in excess of this allocation.

  • Booking fees, transaction fees, and supplementary charges may apply and are non-refundable.

  • If the Event is rescheduled or moved, tickets may be exchanged for the new date/location at The Aaron Dwyer’s discretion. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including changes due to government regulation or force majeure.

  • The Aaron Dwyer is not responsible for any costs incurred for travel, accommodation, or other related goods/services if an Event is changed, rescheduled, or cancelled.

4. Security, Conduct, and Refusal of Entry

​

  • The Aaron Dwyer and venue management reserve the right to:

    • Conduct security searches.

    • Refuse admission or eject any person at their sole discretion, including for intoxication, drug use, signs of infectious disease, inappropriate or disruptive behavior, or failure to comply with Event rules or staff directions.

    • Remove or disqualify any studio, teacher, participant, or spectator for any breach of these Terms or the Code of Conduct. No refunds will be given.

  • Defaced or altered tickets/passes are void.

  • No animals permitted except guide, assistance, or hearing dogs.

5. Indemnity

​

  • Studio owners and teachers agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless The Aaron Dwyer, its staff, and affiliates from all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

    • Any breach of these Terms.

    • Any act, omission, or negligence by you or your participants.

    • Any injury, loss, or damage suffered by any participant or third party.

6. Health, Safety & Insurance

​​

  • Studio owners/teachers are solely responsible for the health, safety, and supervision of their dancers.

  • You must ensure all participants are covered by appropriate insurance. The Aaron Dwyer does not provide personal accident, health, or travel insurance for participants.

  • The Aaron Dwyer is not liable for any injury, illness, or accident except in cases of proven gross negligence.

  • Events will take place regardless of weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. No refunds for bad weather at indoor or outdoor events.

7. Intellectual Property & No Copying of Ideas

​

  • All content, event formats, choreography, competition structures, branding, materials, and ideas—whether published on this Site or presented at any Event—are the exclusive intellectual property of The Aaron Dwyer.

  • Copying, reproducing, imitating, or using any part of our event formats, ideas, structures, materials, or branding for your own or any third-party use, whether commercial or non-commercial, is strictly prohibited without express written consent from The Aaron Dwyer.

  • No recordings, photographs, or other content obtained at any Event may be exploited for financial gain or commercial use without written permission.

  • By participating, you grant The Aaron Dwyer the unrestricted right to use photographs, videos, and recordings of participants for any promotional or commercial purpose, without compensation.

8. Data Protection​

  • Personal data is collected for Event administration and marketing (with consent). See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Changes, Cancellations & Force Majeure

​

  • The Aaron Dwyer reserves the right to change Event details (including content, timing, talent, or venue), reschedule, or cancel Events at any time, in any country, for any reason. No refunds will be issued for any reason.

  • The Aaron Dwyer is not liable for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., force majeure, government action).

  • The Aaron Dwyer is not responsible for any resulting costs you may incur for travel, accommodation, or related goods/services.

10. Limitation of Liability

​

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Aaron Dwyer excludes all liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by any participant, studio, teacher, or third party, in any country.

  • Participation is entirely at your own risk.

  • The Aaron Dwyer is not responsible for the actions of any third party, including exhibitors, sponsors, or venue operators.

  • The Aaron Dwyer does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property brought to Events.

​11. Filming, Photography, and Recordings

​​

  • Attendees may be filmed, photographed, or sound recorded for broadcast, publication, or security purposes by The Aaron Dwyer and/or trusted partners.

  • Video and sound recordings are not permitted in performance or workshop areas unless written permission is provided by The Aaron Dwyer.

  • No content or merchandise obtained at the Event may be resold or used for commercial gain.

12. Miscellaneous

​

  • Please check Event details, timings, and travel arrangements before attending. The Aaron Dwyer is not responsible for travel disruptions or late arrivals.

  • Every effort will be made to admit latecomers at a suitable break, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.

  • Visitors under 18 are not permitted to purchase or sample alcoholic drinks or knives at any Event.

13. Governing Law

​

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the Event is held (United Kingdom, Ireland, or relevant European jurisdiction), except where otherwise required by law. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the country where the Event took place.
