The Performance Squad launched in September and the dancers have already received INCREDIBLE feedback. They recently performed at The Super Weekend in Birmingham and and made me so proud of there achievement and this is something I want to offer all dancers.
Further events are planned across the UK and in Europe. With this in mind, auditions are now open for the AD’s Brand New Jazz Team! This team will perform at selected events throughout the year and will represent both the development programme and the training we provide. We are also in discussion to attend the Dance World Cup in July, taking place in Dublin.
Please note: anyone wishing to take part in the Dance World Cup must have permission from their dance school. If your child would like to audition for the Jazz Team but their studio has concerns regarding a conflict of interest for Dance World Cup, I am happy to discuss this directly with them.

PROPOSED EVENTS
The audition is only the first stage of joining the Performance Squad. All successful auditionees will be sent the full list of proposed event dates and rehearsal dates.
If you are unable to attend any of the listed dates, you will not be able to join the Performance Squad.
Dancers who can attend the majority of events and rehearsals will have a stronger chance of securing
a place than those with limited availability.
Once you confirm the events you will take part in, these will determine the rehearsals you are required
to attend. When you confirm your place for an event and its related rehearsal, this becomes your
commitment. Withdrawal from an event or rehearsal without a valid reason may result in removal from
the Performance Squad.
We encourage dancers to take part in as many events as possible to gain the full experience.

REHEARSAL FEE
There will fee will be be a rehearsal fee of £20 per rehearsal. This contribution helps cover studio hire and administrative support for the Jazz Performance Team. The rehearsal invoiced before each session.
IMPORTANT
The choreography will be created and completed across the three scheduled rehearsals listed above. Attendance at all three rehearsals is mandatory in order to be accepted onto the Jazz Performance Team and to learn the piece we will be performing.
Once the team is selected, confirmed dancers will receive the full set of ongoing rehearsal dates. These rehearsals will take place throughout the season to keep the piece polished, maintain consistency, and ensure the team is fully prepared for all upcoming performances. An availability form and a dancer/parent agreement will be provided following a successful audition.
