ABOUT THE VENUE: THE LEATHERHEAD THEATRE

Leatherhead Theatre, a gem hidden behind Church Street's shops, stands out as a premier venue since its 1969 opening, reflecting the architectural and cultural spirit of the 1960s. Originally the 1930s Crescent Cinema, this venue was transformed into a vibrant cultural hub by architect Roderick Ham and director Hazel Vincent Wallace. Today, it offers a 495-seat auditorium with additional wheelchair space, accommodating a total of 530 patrons. The theatre is not just for performances but also available for larger conferences, auditions, and rehearsals. Beyond the auditorium, it features a bar, coffee bar, gallery, and versatile meeting rooms and workshop facilities, all supported by professional and attentive service to meet your unique needs.
